Virgelia Villegas, President of Virgelia Productions, Inc., held the 26th Annual Miss Asia USA and the 10th Annual Mrs. Asia USA Cultural Pageants held at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center at 1935 Manhattan Beach Blvd, in the city of Redondo Beach, California.
Congratulations to all the contestant. While all Pageant contestant were winners, this year’s finalists were; Eriko. Lee Katakana Miss Asia USA 2015. 1st runner up- Akhila Kethereddy. 2nd runner up- Christy Cho. 3rd runner up Van Phan, and the 4th runner up was Anna Veropaeva.
Eriko Lee Katayama from Korea Won Miss Asia USA 2014- She was also Awarded 4 Special Awards: People’s Choice, Best in Swimsuit, Best in Evening Gown and Miss Popularity. Some of the winners were Eriko. Lee Katakana Miss Asia USA 2015 Akhila Kethereddy. 1st runner up Christy Cho. 2nd runner up Van Phan 3rd runner up Anna Veropaeva. 4th runner up. This was a real International Asian Pageant with attendees came from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan, and many more. In the past several weeks the reigning title holders made special appearances in these countries and developed newfound friendships. The audiences were treated to a lavish celebration of Asian cultural unity as Delegates competed for the prestigious titles of Miss Asia USA and Mrs. Asia USA.
As in previous years, the Asian communities have shown their strong support as this Pageant performances was also “sold out”. During the event Virgelia gave an exuberant speech and she noted, “As we celebrate a remarkable milestone, the 26th anniversary of Miss Asia USA, our mission has remains steadfast. Miss Asia USA and Mrs. Asia USA are presented each year to unite the numerous Asian communities through a celebration of the culture, beauty, elegance and talents.” “I am so pleased to dedicate my efforts to raising awareness of our Asian heritage and traditions and empowering Asian women to succeed in achieving their goals and dreams. Please join us and witness the parade of stunning national costumes, the elegance of the evening gown competition and the sensational swimsuit competition.” concluded Mrs. Virgelia.
The audience was treated to a myriad of entertainment dances and balladeers. The show was followed by an After Show Reception, a perfect avenue for networking with the international guests, business owners and executives in the entertainments industry, photo opportunities with the winners and the Delegates while enjoying a hosted bar and international array of food.
