The Association of Los Angeles Physicians of Indian Origin, (ALAPIO) invites you to join with us in the noble cause of providing free health care, including certain surgeries, to the indigenous population of the Los Angeles, and surrounding areas.

The 400 strong physician membership of ALAPIO, encompassing a wide spectrum of primary and specialty care providers, feels emotionally attached to our Free Clinics and Surgeries Project. Working in tandem with Lestonnec  Clinics, which have provided the logistical infrastructure, we have seen over 600 patients and performed in excess of 60 surgeries for the poor.

We have been able to embark on the endeavor based on the commitment of our volunteer physicians and through the philanthropy of people like you, who are governed by a social conscience and a feeling of doing performing good deeds for humanity. We realize that in the present world, goodness of deed should be recognized and rewarded. Our sponsors are both individuals and corporations: banks, airlines, hospitals, retail businesses etc. They have all benefitted as well from the exposure to a vast and generally prosperous community.

Our next fund-raising event is a Gala Banquet on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Westin Hotel LAX.  The evening promises to be unique.  The entertainment will be an amalgam of western and Indian talent.  There will be a sumptuous Indian meal and a hosted premier bar. We are anticipating that our patrons will include the cream of Southern California Society, who will walk along a ceremonial red carpet, and be photographed and interviewed for broadcast.

Your business will have exposure to 600 Physiscians and other professionals who travel worldwide.

Doctor Bharat Patel is the owner of Beverly Surgery Center and is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology. Dr. Patel completed his General Surgery & Urology residency in New York at the Jewish Hospital Medical Center of Brooklyn,New York.

He has been highly trained for procedures including, Laser, Lithotripsy, Penile Implant and Vaginal Rejuvention. Dr Patel velieves that each individual’s needs are unique and require customized care. He strives to improve each patient’s quality of life throught his surgical expertise, professional qualifications and extensive experience with over 30 years and 10000 cases performed.
