Our History

National Career College (NCC) History

National Career College (NCC) was founded in 2005 as Dental Technology Institute of Southern California (DTISC), specializing in training Dental Laboratory Technicians.

In 2008, after three successful years of operation, DTISC received institutional accreditation from the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and changed its name to National Career College with an expanded program offering training in the allied health field.

In 2009 the college relocated to its present facility in City of Van Nuys, CA.

At its new location, NCC continues to expand its programs to offer quality, career-focused education and training.

Campus Overview

We are located at 14355 Roscoe Blvd, Panorama City. In the heart of the San Fernando Valley. We offer lectures, labs, and computer practice in our  new location in Panorama City, CA 91402.

Classrooms, Computers, and Laboratories

We are committed to ensuring that your educational experience is a valuable tool for finding a career after graduation. To that end, we provide you with up-to-date equipment that meets industry standards in the dental and medical fields. Our instructional classrooms, computer labs, and specialized laboratories are equipped with the necessary equipments and technology to simulate real-world cliinical settings. If you are looking for instruction in a career as a medical assistant, health care administrator, dental laboratory technician, or medical office specialist, then NCC may be the opportunity you’ve been seeking.

Parking and Public Transportation

Our facility is accessible to those with physical disabilities and ample parking is available, including handicapped spaces behind the facility. Street parking is also available within the surrounding two blocks of the building. Our facility is also easily accessible via public transportation. At National Career College, your career training does not stop at graduation. Ensuring graduating students are successful in transitioning into the workforce is our goal and the reason why we are committed to helping our graduates with their employment search.Our Career Services staff is dedicated and motivated to help our students find employment in their field of study.
Although we cannot guarantee employment, NCC will provide all graduates with the tools necessary to secure employment. The Career Services Department staff assistance consists primarily of educating our students in developing their abilities to successfully perform employment-seeking tasks, such as:

• Interview prep and techniques
• Completing job applications
• Interview follow-up
• Career management workshop
• Networking
We understand that a successful job search is dependent upon the confidence, willingness, and preparedness of you, the graduate. Students and graduates are encouraged not to place restrictions on their job search endeavors regarding location, starting salary, and specific benefits. Please understand that any employment obtained through the school’s assistance will, in all probability, be an entry-level position.
