The Ultra Gold Awards Gifting Suite was held at the Mondrian Hotel, in West Hollywood. It was an afternoon filled with lavish gifts and luscious, exotic drinks and desserts—not to mention warm feelings of the pre-Oscar “buzz” and an exciting exchange of gifts, networking and intermingling as various guests and notable figures in L.A.’s Entertainment and Business communities gathered in West Hollywood for a Pre-Oscar Gifting Suite held at the (hotel across from the comedy club in West Hollywood) on Thursday, February 19th, 2015.
Charmaine Blake’s “Ultra Gold” Gift Giving Suite was not only a success for Blake herself (a local L.A. Publicist)—nor was it only a success for the people involved as they represented their companies by either displaying their work or giving out fine samples of their products or services at the party; overall, it was a success that resonated through the happiness and positivitiy of the guests in attendance as they made their way around the Gifting Suite—filling their gift bags with all kinds of exquisite sample products being handed out by different company representatives.
Fashion Designers Sue Wong and Leontine also had their collections of designer dresses on display on the left side of the room as guests made their way past these displays—occasionally stopping to view the display set-ups and dresses as well as take pictures with other guests while standing with the featured work from both Designers. Not to mention there were also highly-stylized visual displays set up by the “Vici” Clothing and “Kangen Water” companies as well as a fashionable display of hair-styling accessories and services set up with Jazmayne Chapman and her company “Glam Doll” towards the back of the room.
Guests continued to circulate the room, conversing and taking more photos with friends, family and other guests before stopping briefly at each table in order to hear more information about the company itself, the products and / or services offered and occasionally, exchanging contact information while picking up their sample “gifts” that were generously being handed out by company representatives.
Some of the companies involved with the Gifting Suite that were handing out gifts and samples to guests that day included “Hansen’s Cakes”—a family-owned company run by Tanya and Sabine Hansen (Mother and Daugter)—who had a display of a fine “Oscar cake” that had posters of the “Best Picture” nominees digitally printed down at the base of the cake. Not to mention the two company founders were also handing out delicious samples of one of their cakes to guests as they made their way by. Samira Kazemeni was there with her company
“Samira’s Gem Creations,” showcasing her wonderful assortment of fine jewelry that added “bling” to the affair as she mingled with other guests and handed out gift bags that included a fine pair of earrings inside. Owner Zohar Levy was there representing her company “Sarrela Professional Hair Tools”—talking to passing guests about the company’s new Professional Hair Dryer just released on the market—handing out brand new, professional stylized-brushes to guests that were passing by in-between talking about her new product.
Javid Myint was there representing “iRing”, answering questions from guests as he talked further about his company. The “Le Jolie Medi-Spa” set-up featured examples of some wonderful Spa and Medi services they offer—with company representatives Sharona Rafaeloff (owner) and Brian Nourian greeting guests to tell them about the services offered at their spa. Art San was there as well, greeting guests and handing out coupons to use through his company “EXTREME Sport Massage”—a private massage company founded and run by Art San himself.
Therapist Dr. Sarah Larsen also had a display set up as she promoted her services to guests passing through by giving them sample palm readings. There was also an immaculate display set up by the “Triple J’s Sweets” company—who were handing out samples of gourmet cupcakes and sweets to guests that stopped by. Representatives from the “Miss Duniya Beauty Pageant” were also present at the Suite as they talked to other guests and handed out information regarding the details behind the up-coming pageant. Sherry Siing (a company representative for “GIM Live Marketing” with “Bubuz”) was also there that day—representing her companies and occasionally exchanging company info with other guests.
There were also some celebrities that stopped in for the fun of the Pre-Oscar Gifting Suite. Among the notable names of guests that day included Actress Kate Linder (“The Young and the Restless,”) “Lux Lifestyles” TV Host Pamela Harper, Actress Luenell (“Borat,” “Hotel Transylvania,”) and Daniel Baldwin (“Vampires,” “Born on the 4th of July.”) The celebrities circulated the room, picking up samples that were being handed out and occasionally stopping to take pictures with fans, paparazzi and other guests in attendance. The Pre-Oscar Gifting Suite was a success overall for everyone involved. It was a day filled with both fun and excitement and it was a great party to attend as part of the “Pre-Oscar” celebration during “Oscar Weekend.”
