The 10,000 –square-foot estate was built in 1926 for film director Marcel Tourneur. Jimmy Hendrix was a former resident and his bedroom with alcove was one of the many beautiful rooms in the Los Feliz Mansion known as The Cedars. The hilltop villa overlooks the beautiful Los Angeles City and is now owned by one of the legendary fashion designers — Sue Wong, whose gowns are known for their timeless, Old- Hollywood glamour and feminine beauty. It is no surprise; Sue Wong has tastefully completed the mansion by restoring the original aesthetic beauty of the house and preserving its massive fireplaces, ceilings and gilded columns.

It was a great and elegant party creating the elegance of Old Hollywood Glamour. The beautiful and great looking crowd of guests appeared one after another, and the guests included some wonderful, very accomplished Entertainment personalities. There were amazing celebrities and talent at Cedars that night—Stars such as : (Jane Seymour, Kelsey Grammer, Ronn Moss, James Frain, Bai Ling, and Carolyn Hennesy); Grammy award winning composer-musician Omar Akram, rockers, (Chris Pitman from Guns and Roses, British Rock musician, Steve Cooke); Dignitaries– the Madame Ambassador Chen Xiaoling and the Ambassador of China himself, Liu Jian were there–as well as the British Consul General Robert Pierce. Many Entertainment notables attended, including Academy Award screenwriter David Seidler( The King’s Speech), producer/writer David Marconi (Die-Hard and Enemy of the State), the creator of Baywatch, Michael Berk, of course my friend Sandro Monetti, West Coast Director of BAFTA, and producer of Samira’s Show; Michael C. Makabeh, also Samira Kazemeni, Jewelry designer and producer, as well as Mr. Golden Globes himself, Lorenzo Sorio.

Melissa also performed a very special “Happy Birthday” to West Coast BAFTA chief Sandro Monetti, and together with the glowing birthday candles.
